About the role
We have a new opportunity for a permanent full-time IT Support Technician positions to join our team in Griffith or Wagga Wagga NSW.
In this highly autonomous role you will plan, deploy, support and optimise IT environments to meet the current and future needs of our clients on-site and from our offices.
Requirements
As a key member of out team it is essential that you are well presented and possess excellent interpersonal and communications skills, along with a technically strong skill set.
- Experience in a similar client-focused, 'hands-on' service delivery role working in diverse Microsoft environments
- Strong troubleshooting skills and in-depth knowledge of computer hardware and related software
- Experience in installing and troubleshooting Internet technologies
- Effective oral and written communication with a history of discussing and solving issues with technical and non-technical individuals
- Implementation and support experience with Microsoft on-premises solutions such as Windows Server, Hyper-V, Exchange, AD, Group Policy and DNS
- Strong understanding and experience with TCP/IP, Layer 3 switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, Routing, Firewall Security, Wireless solutions
- You are quick at learning and love tackling technical challenges.
Desired
In addition, it would be a distinct advantage if you have had experience in any the following:
- Cyber-security Pen-testing or management
- Network design
- Linux support and administration
- Have worked for a Managed Service Provider
- Virtualisation technologies
Other Mandatory Requirements
- As there are site visits involved in this role, a current Australian Driver's License is an essential requirement.
- Applicants must have Australian Citizenship or Residency or rights to work.
